The Silhouette InstaLift is neither a filler nor a typical thread. Instead, it plays the role of both and is a unique dual-action treatment. Its threads produce instant lifting of the tissues in the mid-face area. They also encourage steady regeneration of collagen, which naturally restores facial volume and skin health over time.

The threads act on the subcutaneous tissues, stimulating fibroblast activation that results in gradual production of Type I and Type III collagen protein.

Your Treatment Session

Before your Silhouette InstaLift session can be scheduled, you’ll meet with Dr. Liu for a consultation. He will assess your facial features and determine your candidacy for this procedure.

At the start of the procedure, Dr. Liu will mark the entry points for the threads. Though anesthesia is not always required, local anesthesia is administered to help patients avoid any discomfort that would otherwise be experienced during the procedure.

After the anesthesia takes effect, the sutures are inserted using a needle and then the skin is repositioned to get the desired lifting effect. The number of sutures used differs from one individual to another based on their skin elasticity and skin health. No incisions are made, therefore there is no need for suture removal.

After a Silhouette InstaLift Treatment

After your Silhouette InstaLift, you will not need to deal with any frustrating downtime or recovery time. You can go back to your normal daily activities comfortably.
